August 2018 One of our recent projects is a house in Coonabarabran NSW. Located on a remote property, this home was designed to be able to be built by the limited trades available locally. The building is large, to suit the site and create a sculptural element within the landscape. Being 50 metres long and 6 metres wide, the house is divided into two separate sleeping quarters with a large transparent living/dining/kitchen zone in the middle. The design makes the most of 360 degree views yet sits below the horizon line when viewed from the road. Extensive landscaping is currently underway, including a pool and accompanying shade structure.
