Nestled comfortably on a 40 acre block to the south of Armidale this house was in need of an update.
The existing building was adequate in area, but lacked light, views and a sense of space.
The answer was a reductive approach, created by the strategic removal of internal walls and a substandard northern sun room.
Next came a coat of white paint, bamboo flooring, a new kitchen, bathroom and laundry and new locally made timber doors and windows.
The result is a comfortable home that now opens up to the views, feels light and spacious and meets the constraints of a modest budget.
